MISS INDY 2010 fired up with its official launch at the Beach House in Surfers Paradise, host of the Miss Indy Final and the Rockstar Miss Indy Party HQ. Girls from the past, present and future brought all the glamour and excitement of the national model search in front of cameras from Nine News, the Gold Coast Bulletin, Life GC and Coast Lifestyle. 
MISS INDY winners, Marieka Van Den Bergh (2008) and Ashleigh Sudholz (2009) and future contestant Emily Rowe, repeated the famous grid walk poolside wearing chequered bikinis and race flags in hand. Coming out in their stunning lycra grid outfits was a hit with the media who have been waiting to see what real grid-girls wear for the sport of motor racing. Councillor Susie Douglas, Miss Indy head judge for 2010 final, was on hand to comment on the 19 years of success of Miss Indy and lent her support for the 2010 event. |
